Transformers?

So I had planned to see Transformers very soon, but I came across a scathing review from Roger Ebert.

Here is the first paragraph of the review:

"Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" is a horrible experience of unbearable length, briefly punctuated by three or four amusing moments. One of these involves a dog-like robot humping the leg of the heroine. Such are the meager joys. If you want to save yourself the ticket price, go into the kitchen, cue up a male choir singing the music of hell, and get a kid to start banging pots and pans together. Then close your eyes and use your imagination.

I'm kind of scared to see it now. I might just go downstairs and start bagning pots and pans instead.

I just saw it and Ebert can suck it. If he was going into it thinking it would win an Academy Award then I could understand him being dissapointed. But it's a movie about alien robots, what else can you expect other than them blowing shit up. It's just another example of the critic-audience divide. Most people went to see Megan Fox.
