Job Search in State College

220 E. FOSTER AVE -- What up guys? The weather here is finally starting to warm up. Well this job market sucks as you guys all know. My major just had our annual Career Fair, which is kind of a big deal since we're the top landscape architecture program in the country (suck it LSU!). Well there's usually 30 firms who come and a waiting list of others who want to, but this year, there were only 20 and not one was hiring. The firm I interned with this summer, PBS&J, came, and we went out and stuff here and had a good time, but they're not hiring until maybe fall or summer (hurry up Obama!). I even got to go dinner with my professor and a handful of alums who had him. I was the only student invited, and I worked the shit out of my business drunk - I've been drinking scotch and soda these days to build up my business drunk. I took these guys out to the Skellar (alums do love that place) and Cafe, but same old story, no one's hiring.

My plan for now is to still move down to DC after graduation and try to get some kind of summer job (Lou hook me up!), and by then, hopefully the economy will be doing well (celebrate good Obama, come on!), and can get a job.
