ESPN & ARPM

ARGENTINE RESIDENCE -- So I don't know if anyone else from 711 has gotten it yet but I have here our final ledger from ARPM.  Imagine, if you will, my joy at seeing $157.68 at the bottom.  Then imagine my hatred when I realized that it is $157.68 OWED to ARPM.  In fact, we would only have owed $7.68 except for a July late fee of $150 which was billed 3 days after I had talked to them in person after cleaning the apartment and which they forgot to mention would be tacked on, something like a final Fuck You.  We need to pay it by the 30th so everyone needs to send their share to "ARPM, attention Bookkeeping office".

In other news (and better news), ESPN is starting up a big documentary development thing.  One of their projects is 30 1 hour docs for ESPN's 30th anniversary, some of the doc producers are none other than Spike Lee and Steve Nash.  One thing that caught my attention is that they will accept pitches from anyone, young up-and-comers and veterans alike.  So get thinking for a great concept.

Also, there's a new show on tuesdays called Fringe, by the creator of Lost and Alias, about an FBI agent and scientists solving a big conspiracy involving pseudosciences.  It's kind of like X-files but without aliens and things, and even though there's only been 2 episodes so far it looks like it could be pretty good.

Love all around,

Per
