I just rewatched Hard Day's Night, the Beatle's first movie, and it's better than I remember. The dialogue and everything that happens is completely absurd but it's shot almost as if it's a documentary, everyone seems to be having a good time, and that's what makes it great. For example: in one scene when 2 other characters are talking you can see John Lennon open a bottle of Coca Cola and start to sniff it. During an interview a reporter asks Ringo Starr how he likes his girlfriends to dress, he thinks about it for a second then chuckles.
I just applied for a job as a camera assistant for a film that's shooting in Pittsburgh next month called Marble City starring Alfred Molina (Doc Ock). Haven't heard back yet but I'm hoping for the best.
I've finally recorded sound effects for Sleep and I'm hoping to send it down to my cousin to get it scored next week. It's finally almost done (no thanks to you-know-who).
