University Inn - Madison, Wisconsin -- Upon finishing our blog post last night we made our way over to The Linebacker right across the street. The bar looked really shitty from the outside so we didn't really know what we were getting ourselves into from the start. Things immediately picked up the second we got into the bar when we received a 'one free drink' coupon after paying cover. Of course we immediately used them (well except Dave...i don't know why) on the most drink we could get for free. The bar only sold 32oz. solo cups of beer for $3.50 which is a pretty sweet deal.
Alright so the bar was a little place decorated with all kinds of Notre Dame Athletics gear and pictures. This included a picture of lou holtz and charlie weis in the bar as well a picture of the black mgd dude that does the commercials in between the two and a sweet sign that said Jake & Coke - "America's Cocktail." Soo we were all feeling pretty good about 3hrs later after hearing hit after hit from DJ Drew (a 60 year old DJ who when how to mix it up) and 3 solo cups deep each. It was now 3:30am...and now the fun begins.
Instead of walking right back across the street and going to sleep, we of course decided to go get food. We turned right and went towards the main street which we when had a burger king on it...we just didn't realize how far. After about a mile we finally made it to the BK Lounge. The front window read 'open 24 hours' but much to our dismay we realized that this only meant the drive thru. Since we were not in the right state of mind we decided to walk on foot through the drive thru. So once we decided what we wanted to order we realized that you actually had to be in a car to activate the voice jaun. At this time a black guy kindly moved up behind us and asked, "do you want me to order for you?" We thought this was a great idea at the time so we accepted the offer. We ordered a #2, 5, 10 and he ordered two double whopper juniors which came to about $18. He asked if we wanted to get into the car and pull around to the front window (the corey's realized this was a bad idea but dave wanted in). We instead decided to give him a $20 bill and we would just walk along side him. What do you think happened next? This fuckin dude took our money and drove off with it. After the initial shock we decided to pool our money together again and walk up to the window since we had already ordered. We waited patiently in line for another family to order $50 worth of shit. When it was finally our turn to pay for our food the BK workers were quite confused and stated that this was 'against state law' to walk because someone got hit doing that. We calmly explained that we were in a car when we ordered our food but our driver decided to take off. After convincing this nice old lady that this actually happened we ended up getting our food and we were on our way back down the road to the hotel.
There were many lessons learned in this string of events:
1. Walking through a drive thru is illegal and dangerous.
2. It was worth the walk.
3. Whoppers & Whopper Juniors make your farts smell.
Since that story was so long we will keep you guys filled in on our trip to Chicago, IL and Madison, WI tomorrow...

P.S. Dave's camera isn't tryna so we cannot put up any pictures.
